YKP Surveys & Findings

In responding to the impact of COVID-19 in Asia and the Pacific, through its Working Group the IATT on YKPs and its partners have rolled out a set of rapid surveys to assess information needs, medication on hand, ability to access HIV and mental health services and support networks of YKPs and YPLHIV at the regional and country levels. The findings of the surveys highlight existing challenges faced by young people in accessing HIV prevention and treatment services as well as socioeconomic and mental health support during COVID-19 pandemic across the region. The findings from the surveys are informing local solutions and advocacy efforts through the leadership of young key populations and young people living with HIV for a strengthened response to COVID-19 in Asia and the Pacific.
